Deputies Helmer, Stivers and Lt. Dixon receive awards

OCT-15   DFC R. Helmer and DFC J. Stivers receive state wide awards for their proactive enforcement actions while at the Caroline County Sheriff's Office. DFC. Helmer received Deputy Of The Year from the Maryland Sheriff's Association and DFC. Stivers received the "Smooth Operator" award from the Maryland Highway Safety Office. In addition, Patrol Commander Lt. Ronald Dixon received an award from the Smooth Operator Program for coordinating the program at the Caroline Sheriff's Office. In the picture is Sheriff Randy Bounds, Caroline County Commissioners Larry Porter, Wilbur Levengood, Dan Franklyn, and Md Senator Addie Eckardt and our local Delegates, in addition to Maryland State Highway Office officials.

Deputy Flaig Entertains Kids at Lockerman Middle School Pep Rally

DFC Flaig Kiss's Pig For StudentsOn October 1, 2015, Lockerman Middle School held their PBIS Pep Rally. During this time, School Resource Officer - Deputy First Class (DFC) Devon Flaig who is assigned to Lockerman Middle School got the highest votes to "Kiss a Pig", out of 5 other school staff members.

DFC Flaig kept his promise to the kids and staff and wen along with the program enthusiastically. DFC Flaig kissed the pig and the children erupted in cheer and laughter. A big thank you to DFC Flaig, School Principle Lee Sutton, and the Lockerman Middle School Staff who made this a wonderful event for the kids.
