On January 30, 2026, Deputies from the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office extradited Adrian K. Waters, a 38-year-old male of Denton, MD from Delaware.  Mr. Water was served an arrest warrant for unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle, rogue and vagabond, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and 15 related traffic charges. These charges stem from an incident that occurred on August 12, 2025, when a deputy while on patrol in the Marydel area located a stolen vehicle that was being driven by Mr. Waters. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle when it fled into Delaware. Mr. Waters was stopped in Delaware with the assistance of the Delaware State Police where he was arrested and held in Delaware pending extradition.

During the service of the arrest warrant on Mr. Waters, it was determined that he was also wanted by the Maryland State Police for failing to appear in court in Dorchester County, the deputies served 3 FTA warrants on Mr. Warters.

Mr. Waters was seen by a District Court Commissioner and ordered to be held on secured bond at the Caroline County Detention Center.
