Domestic Assault Arrest

On Wednesday, April 2, 2026 at approximately 1:35 AM, Deputies were dispatched to 14 W. Railroad Ave. Apt. 8, Ridgely, MD. in reference to numerous disturbance calls. On the fourth call, deputies placed 27 year old, Ronald William Geaman 3rd under arrest for failure to obey a lawful order and disorderly conduct.  While on scene deputies saw red marks and bruising on the neck of Mr. Geaman's live in girlfriend. These injuries were not present during earlier three interactions with the police. While en-route to the Sheriff's Office for processing, Mr. Geaman damaged a rear radio speaker in the rear passenger compartment of the patrol vehicle and caused a self inflicted minor injury to his head while thrashing about in the rear seat. Mr. Geaman received medical treatment for his injuries. The victim did not need medical treatment. 
 
Mr. Geaman was processed and charge with first and second degree assault, MDOP Less $1000 Value, disorderly conduct, failure to obey a lawful order, intoxicated public disturbance and intoxicated endangerment.  Mr. Geaman was seen by a District Court Commissioner and ordered held at the Caroline County Detention Center on No Bond.
