Driving Under the Influence Arrest

January 30, 2026

On January 30, 2026, a Deputy from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office was on patrol in the Henderson area and observed a vehicle committing numerous traffic violations. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota Tacoma, the driver of the truck was identified as Elder Geovani Morales Vasquez 27-year-old male of Greensboro, MD.  Mr. Vasquez stated that he did not have a driver’s license in any state. A check revealed that he did not have a valid license, and further investigation revealed the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Mr. Vasquez, along with numerous open beer cans in the rear of the passenger compartment.  

Mr. Vasquez completed the standard field sobriety testing and as a result he was placed under arrest. He was processed and charged with driving under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se and other traffic offenses. Mr. Vasquez was issued the citations and released to a sober driver.
