On February 19, 2026, a deputy of the Caroline County Sheriff's Office served a criminal summons on, Harrison Spurry Jr. a 56 year-old male of Denton, MD. The summons charges Mr. Spurry with one count second degree assault, theft less $100 value, MDOP over $1000 value and fourth degree sex offense.  
 
These charges stem from an incident that was report to deputies on February 14, 2026, where the victim alleged that Mr. Spurry assaulted her, damaged her property and stole her dog. The summons also charged Mr. Spurry with a fourth degree sex offence that is alleged to have occurred in 2025. 
 
Mr. Spurry signed the criminal summons and was instructed on when to appear in District Court.
