On March 1, 2026 a Deputy from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office was on routine patrol in the Town of Federalsburg, MD and observed a vehicle traveling a high rate of speed in a residential area.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to be Tarny Love Pierre-Louis a 24 year-old male of Federalsburg, MD who was operating a motor vehicle without a valid license in any state.  While speaking with Tarny Love Pierre-Louis, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. Tarny Love Pierre-Louis completed field sobriety testing and as a result of that testing he was placed under arrest. He was issued several citation to included driving under the influence of alcohol per we.  After receiving his citations and documents he was released to to a sober driver.
